You Are NOT a Snowflake
Your responses appear to be rather standard. We don't understand why you should be referred to as a weak, fragile, delicate, or snowflake! So, please ignore individuals who try to discriminate against you (for whatever reason) by using obnoxious terminology like snowflake.
The Alt-Right Might Call You a Snowflake
Your left-wing political ideals, such as social equality and egalitarianism, appear to have harmed some people! Because you can't stand the Alt-extremist Right's ideals, they'd call you a snowflake. In politics, the term "snowflake" is used to discriminate against extreme viewpoints and to dismiss any opposing viewpoint. Donald Trump was a frequent usage of this term, attempting to deny that his opponents were making a valid point. But, after all, who cares what the Alt-Right thinks of you? Allow them to play with their toys.
The Left-Wing Might Call You a Snowflake
You appear to hold some radical viewpoints on politics, life, and "a whole bunch of other stuff." As a result, we believe left-wing fans may refer to you as a snowflake. It does not imply that you are sensitive or frail. However, it alludes to the idea that you are enraged by the majority of people's opposing viewpoints. It is not acceptable to refer to someone as a snowflake. However, based on your comments, it appears that you, too, would use this phrase against others. So there's that as well.
You Are Just a Normal Gen-Zers or Millennial—NOT a Snowflake

So don't let meaningless terminology prevent you from expressing your feelings and raising awareness. What Does It Indicate?

“Snowflake” is a slang or disparaging term for persons who act as if they are unique from the rest of the world and, as a result, deserve special treatment or privileges. In recent years, the term has primarily been applied to people who are sensitive and easily offended. (More on this later.)

Millennials and Gen-Zers Face a Controversial Test

Most Millennials, according to this theory, are incapable of dealing with the harsh realities of politics and life. The Gen-Zers, on the other hand, are squeamish and anti-culture. As a result, the quiz determines whether or not the concept is viable.

It’s worth noting that the term has a few different connotations. It’s a term we use in the Snowflake Test to describe people who are too sensitive or touchy.

Explanation of the Snowflake Test

The Snowflake Test is a collection of questions designed to measure your hardiness while remaining respectful. There are no racist, homophobic, or hateful options on any of the test items. As a result, it is a risk-free quiz for everyone. Throughout the test, however, you will be confronted with difficult thoughts and contentious topics.

We developed a real Snowflake Quiz with real-world outcomes. However, most online options offer amusing and lighthearted quizzes.

The Origins of the Term “Snowflakes”

Although some assume it is a reference to the Fight Club novel, the term Snowflake is far older. According to historical evidence, such words were first used by Americans in the 1860s, during and after the Civil War. It referred to pro-slavery sympathizers who were mostly white men.

The term was then used as a racist slur in the 1970s and during the Black Power struggle. “Snowflake” was a term used back then to describe black people who, in the perspective of others, acted too white.

The present use, on the other hand, began in 2015 as a result of political rallies. Right-wing millennials have been dubbed “snowflakes” by the left, implying that they are extremely fragile. The left-wing did the same thing in response, labeling Donald Trump and his fans “snowflakes” because they seemed to be outraged by everything.

In the year 2021, the term has become a catch-all term for someone who can’t stand opposing viewpoints or is easily offended.

What Is the Snowflake Test Used For?

Why do some people wonder, “Am I a snowflake?” since the word has a negative connotation? Or why would someone want to show that by taking a personality test? Despite the negative connotations, there are four primary reasons why people participate in such surveys. For more information, see the section below.

Cancel Culture

There is such a thing as call-out culture. As a result of this situation, many millennials and Gen-Zers feel alone and isolated. Labeling people as Snowflakes has recently become a popular way to get rid of them. As a result, some people take online tests like the one on this website to check if they are deserving of such labels.

Interviews for jobs

For his employment interviews in 2017, the CEO of Silent Partner Marketing used a self-invented hypersensitivity test. His purpose was to weed out individuals who were overly fragile or hypersensitive. Kyle Reyes’ Snowflake Test went viral, inspiring many other businesses to use the same approach. That is why, before applying for a job, individuals still hunt up such tests online to give them a try.

Self-Assessment

The Snowflake quiz is simply a self-assessment tool for some millennials, Gen-Zers, and even Zillennials. They want to ensure that society does not dismiss them as easily broken and vulnerable.

Political View

The word has been used in political disputes since 2015. As a result, people may take a free Snowflake test solely to show their political beliefs. To determine which party would label you as soft or prickly, we asked you a series of questions about both left and right-wing ideas.

Why Are Some People Opposed to Snowflake Tests?

Black Lives Matter was one of many successful social justice and anti-discrimination initiatives in the 2010s. However, some argue that seemingly benign phrases such as “snowflake” are establishing new biases and bigotry that harm particular groups in society. As a result, numerous activists and influencers have criticized and dismissed the online tests.

Right-wing followers, for example, have blasted Gen-Zers for being more upfront about their feelings and mental health difficulties. The most recent victim of such strikes was American artistic gymnast Simone Biles. (Because of her fragile mental state, she refused to compete in the Olympics finals.) As a result, she was labeled as weak, greedy, and entitled by some.

What if the Quiz Tells You Are a Snowflake?

We devised a test that does not call anyone by their first name or label them. All it does is examine your viewpoints to determine who may bestow such titles on you and why. So, the Snowflake Test on this page is a method of determining which group of individuals believes you are easily offended. However, the findings do not support or confirm their beliefs.

Before you take the quiz, keep the following points in mind

Only those who already know that snowflake-like classifications are meaningless should take the exam. Such insulting terms belong in history books, not in today’s reality. Although we prepared a useful quiz, we recommend that you consider the following points before taking it.

Stop Using This Word

This discriminatory term is used in the Snowflake Test. However, this does not imply that we approve of it. Whatever your intentions are, calling somebody names like this hurts them. Some even suggest that the phrase has a more sinister and nasty meaning. According to legend, the Nazis created the term to describe the ashes of the camps’ charred bodies.

Take pride in your individuality

You’re surely aware that each snowflake, like human fingerprints, has a distinct shape. So, if someone calls you that, you know they’re bothered by your exclusivity.

Here are a few options for dealing with biased persons who are attempting to harm your feelings. In a 2017 post for Bustle, Julie Sprankles suggested the following strategies.

Thank you!

“A simple thank you might throw off the individual who was intending to use this term as an offense against you,” Julie explains.

Stay away from this individual

It is a symptom of toxicity to use racist phrases against others. So, for the sake of your mental health, you can always shut the individual down and avoid additional talks.

Remind Them of Their Irresponsibility

Snowflake has been used to call out pro-slavery activists and even some members of the black community. As a result, it’s a good idea to inform the speaker that they’re using an undesirable word. It also demonstrates their contempt for major historical and social movements.

Raise Awareness

Not everyone is aware of the term’s gruesome roots and unpleasant connotations. As a result, make sure to use the Snowflake Test and other internet resources to raise awareness and assist others. Sharing your quiz results with others on social media is one way to do it, as we offered useful information there.
